Hello World,
This is Richard Snarfin. I am a 57-year old cognitive therapist from Joliet, Illinois. My background is quite diverse and because of my myriad experiences I am uniquely qualified to give friendship advice.
Why friendship advice? Thank you for asking. There a lot of sites and columns that purport to give "relationship" advice; there are even some that offer financial guidance but I have yet to see a one-stop shop where you can get advice about friendship. That's what my site is all about. I know a lot about people, heck I know a lot about a lot of things. My major in college was Paleontology and because of that I know a lot about dinosaurs.
Here is my format. You people send me your queries, your questions about friendship problems or issues you are having and I will respond with healthy, smart and reasonable advice. When I was at my darkest point, back when I was 17 and used to take apart and rebuild computer consoles for hours, I wished I had a friend instead of just a motherboard to get me through the interminable night. Now, I have lots of friends and I am a licensed therapist, so please let me share my insight and knowledge with you.
All life is struggle,
Richard Snarfin
About Me
- Richard Snarfin
- I am a licensed therapist with a thriving practice in Illinois. As a youth I didn't have any friends but as I got older I found ways to make people like me. Since then I have taken it upon myself to fix other peoples' friendship problems. I like to drive long distances in my car with no destination in mind, just until the gas runs out of my car. Afterwards, I will often abandon the car and walk home.
